A successful Viewpoint article provides a perspective on an important topic in biomedical research, clinical studies, or science policy. It is an appropriate place to speculate, take risks, or comment (positively or negatively) on related issues. Articles must be accessible and of interest to specialists and nonspecialists. Authors can expect significant editing to ensure the article will appeal to the Journal’s broad readership. Display items are limited to 1 Figure or 1 Table, but not both. See JCI Viewpoints here.
