Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) are a major cause of diarrheal illness in developing
countries, and perennially the most common cause of traveller's diarrhea. ETEC constitute a
diverse pathotype that elaborate heat-labile and/or heat-stable enterotoxins. Recent
