The article presents a case study of a 52-year-old woman who was diagnosed with chronic
neutrophilic leukaemia (CNL). Results of her complete blood count, peripheral blood smear,
bone marrow aspiration and cytogenetic analyses are discussed. The authors suggest that
CSF3R T618I, ASXL1 G942 fs and STAT5B N642H trimutation co-contribute to a rare CNL
manifested by rapidly progressive leucocytosis, severe infections, persistent fever and deep
venous thrombosis.
Abstract
