OBJECTIVE: Intrauterine growth-restricted (IUGR) newborns have increased risk of obesity-
induced fatty liver and inflammation. We hypothesized that IUGR-induced inhibition of
hepatic peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs) is associated with an increased
