The article presents the case of a 21-year-old man with remission induced by autologous
hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (AHSCT). The man was a newly diagnosed type 1
diabetes patient with diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). He developed DKA with coma at the onset
of the disease and achieved clinical remission following AHSCT.
Abstract
