The laboratory diagnosis of ataxia–telangiectasia (A–T) currently relies upon measurement
of serum alphafetoprotein (AFP) and cellular sensitivity to ionizing radiation. A previous
report suggests that immunoblotting of whole cell lysates from lymphoblastoid cell lines
