BACKGROUND: Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) endows human CD11c+ dendritic
cells (DCs) from peripheral blood with the capacity to induce proallergic T cells. TSLP is
present at high levels in the epidermis of atopic dermatitis where it appears to trigger
