The efflux of cholesterol from cells in culture to cyclodextrin acceptors has been reported to
be substantially more rapid than efflux induced by other known acceptors of cholesterol
(Kilsdonk, EPC, Yancey, P., Stoudt, G., Bangerter, FW, Johnson, WJ, Phillips, MC, and
