Glucagonoma syndrome is a paraneoplastic phenomenon characterized by an islet alpha-
cell pancreatic tumor, necrolytic migratory erythema, diabetes mellitus, weight loss, anemia,
stomatitis, thromboembolism, and gastrointestinal and neuropsychiatric disturbances. These
clinical findings in association with hyperglucagonemia and demonstrable pancreatic tumor
