(DA) deficiency develops in the postnatal differentiation of TIDA neurons in Ames dwarf
hypothalamus and the effect of PRL on that differentiation. In mice, dwarf and normal brains
were assessed from seven days of age through adulthood for hypothalamic DA levels and
TIDA neuron number; the effect of PRL replacement at an identified critical period was
