Membrane phospholipid is an important reservoir for the generation of bioactive mediators.
Cellular phospholipases hydrolyze membrane phospholipid in a structurally specific manner
releasing numerous lipid products that are responsible for transmitting diverse signals
necessary for the induction of functional responses. Since this is a highly regulated process,
