Bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) receptor kinases are tightly regulated to control
development and tissue homeostasis. Mutant receptor kinase domains escape regulation
leading to severely degenerative diseases and represent an important therapeutic target.
Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP) is a rare but devastating disorder of
