This study used a murine model of type 2 diabetes (BKS. Cg-Dock7m+/+ Leprdb/J mice) to
investigate the inflammatory and cellular mechanisms predisposing to Burkholderia
pseudomallei infection and co-morbid diabetes. Homozygous db/db (diabetic) mice
