Publisher Summary This chapter discusses various methods for isolation and purification of
one epithelial cell type, the gastric parietal cell. The methodology has been optimized for the
study of the relationship between hormone/paracrine-induced increases in parietal cell
hydrochorolic acid (HCL) secretion and changes in cyclic adenosine monophosphate
