We hypothesized that polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) exposed to lipopolysaccharide
(LPS) or chemotactic peptide N-formyl-l-methionyl-l-leucyl-l-phenylalanine (FMLP) would
alter the pulmonary hemodynamics of buffer-perfused rabbit lung. Pulmonary arterial
