Loss of CD8+ T cells in anti-CD137–injected virus-infected mice. C57BL/6 mice were infected by i.p. injection of 2 × 105 PFU LCMV Armstrong. The following day, mice were injected i.p. with 200 μg of either anti-CD137 or rat IgG. Mice were euthanized on day 8 P.I. and CD8+ T cells enumerated by FACS analysis in (A) spleen, (B) pooled left and right inguinal LNs, and (C) lung.
