Resistance of the rLCMV/INDG-induced nAb response to LCMV-ARM coinfection. C57BL/6 mice were infected i.v. with 2 × 104 PFU LCMV-ARM (triangles), 2 × 104 PFU rLCMV/INDG (squares), or with both above inocula (circles). Serum samples collected at the indicated time points were tested for VSV-IND_neutralizing total Ig (A) and IgG (B) and for LCMV-ARM nAb’s (C). ARM-HIS (×) and WEN-3 mAb (+) served as controls (single samples). The remaining symbols generally represent the mean of three mice per group ± SD. Due to limitations in the amount of serum collected, for some groups and time points in C only 2 out of 3 mice could be tested. One representative experiment of 2 similar experiments is shown.
