Figure 2Nef-induced Ras-Raf-MAPK1,2 activation in podocytes. Nef-infected podocytes (Nef) and control podocytes (V) were prepared as previously described. Phospho–c-Raf and phospho-MAPK1,2 (p-MAPK1,2) were detected by Western blot using specific antibodies. Ras-GTP was determined by a pull-down assay using Raf1-RBD as the trap.
