Gel-filtered human platelets were preincubated with inhibitors at various concentrations for 15 minutes prior to the addition of 25 μg/ml affinity-purified anti–GPIIIa49–66 (AP) or control (C) IgG for 4 hours. Ci, control IgG plus inhibitor; BPB, bomophenacyl bromide. Platelet fragmentation was monitored by flow cytometry of platelets labeled with anti–CD41-FITC Ab.
