Stat-3Δ/Δ mice exposed to room air or 95% O
2 for 65 hours. Lung mechanics were similar in control and
Stat-3Δ/Δ mice in room air. After exposure to 95% O
2, airway resistance, airway elastance, tissue damping, and tissue elastance were increased and compliance decreased significantly in
Stat-3Δ/Δ but not in control mice.
